Weekend with the 2026 Cadillac CT5 Premium Luxury
This past weekend, I took home the 2026 Cadillac CT5 Premium Luxury in the gorgeous Radiant Red, and I’m convinced this might be one of the most underrated luxury sedans out there. It’s stylish, comfortable, easy to drive, and packed with features that made my errands (and Christmas shopping) feel way more fun than they usually do.
Small Car, Big Convenience
One of the first things that stood out to me was how easy this car is to park. I was bouncing between the Altoona Outlets and Jordan Creek Mall for Christmas shopping, and the CT5 slipped into spots effortlessly. It was such a perk on a busy errand day, no circling around for the “perfect” extra-wide space. It just fit anywhere.
Even though it’s a sedan, it’s way more spacious inside than you’d expect. The seating doesn’t feel cramped, the trunk has plenty of room for all your things, and the whole cabin feels polished and open.
Shockingly Spacious Trunk
For being a smaller luxury sedan, the trunk is surprisingly big, and honestly, perfect for shopping days. I had plenty of room for all my bags, plus the organizing compartments kept everything neat and stopped items from rolling around. It made unloading so much easier once I got home.
Luxury You Can Feel
The interior of the CT5 is stunning. The Maple Sugar with Jet Black Accents, Leather Seating gives the whole cabin an elevated, warm, rich look.
With the temperatures dropping, I definitely used the heated seats and heated steering wheel during my morning and nighttime drives. And during the day, the cooled seats were just as enjoyable, especially after walking around crowded malls.
Nighttime Driving, Upgraded
Since the sun goes down so early now, I really appreciated the CT5’s ambient interior lighting. You can customize the color and brightness to match your vibe, and it completely transforms the cabin at night. It feels modern, luxurious, and honestly just fun.
Smart Safety (Without the Loud Beeps)
One of my favorite Cadillac features is the Safety Alert Seat. Instead of an obnoxious beeping noise when you drift or get too close to something, the seat gently buzzes on the side where the issue is. It’s super effective without distracting or annoying you or your passengers.
Tech That Makes Life Easier
I used Apple CarPlay® all weekend, for both music and directions, and the big infotainment screen made everything easy to see at a glance. When I wasn’t sure where I was going, the large display definitely helped keep me on track. The interface is clean, fast, and laid out really well, so you’re never fumbling around trying to find what you need.
A Few More Cool Features Worth Highlighting
The CT5 comes with plenty of standout features, like:
Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™
Available Super Cruise for hands-free highway driving
Driver Mode Selector (Tour, Sport, and Snow/Ice)
Advanced LED headlights for better visibility
Smooth, quiet ride quality that feels truly premium
Final Thoughts
After a full weekend in the 2026 Cadillac CT5 Premium Luxury, I’m convinced it’s the perfect sedan for someone who wants a luxury feel in a size that’s easy to live with. It’s comfortable, fun to drive, practical, and full of thoughtful touches that make everyday life, or a full day of Christmas shopping, a lot more enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a sedan that’s stylish, surprisingly spacious, tech-savvy, and packed with comfort features, the CT5 should be at the top of your list.
