A Weekend with the 2026 INFINITI QX60

A Weekend with the 2026 INFINITI QX60

I took home this 2026 INFINITI QX60 in Emerald Green for the weekend, and honestly, it was one of those vehicles that just fit into real life. It snowed, it was freezing, I ran errands, did a lot of Christmas shopping, and spent plenty of time behind the wheel. By the end of the weekend, I didn’t want to give it back.

First Impressions

The Emerald Green color is what caught my eye first. It’s rich, different, and looks amazing in person, especially against the snow. It feels unique without being loud, which I really liked.

Inside, the Saddle Brown interior completely sold me. It made the whole cabin feel warm and high-end, and it pairs so well with the green exterior. Everything inside just feels expensive in the best way.

The panoramic sunroof is huge and lets in so much light. Even on cloudy winter days, it made the interior feel open and bright instead of dark and gloomy.

Cold Weather

Since it was so cold all weekend, the comfort features were clutch.

The heated seats and heated steering wheel warmed up fast, and the remote start was a game-changer. I could start the car from inside and hop into a warm cabin.

The massaging front seats were probably my favorite feature. They felt amazing, especially after a long day of running around. It’s one of those things you don’t realize you need until you have it.

At night, the interior feels extra nice. The ambient lighting gives it such a luxury vibe, and the INFINITI logo lighting up on the ground when you open the door is a small detail that somehow never gets old.

I did a lot of Christmas shopping this weekend, and the QX60 had no problem keeping up. There’s a ton of room in the trunk, especially with the third row folded down.

One thing I loved was how easy it was:

You can lower the third-row seats with the push of a button right in the trunk

The hands-free power liftgate opens with a kick under the bumper, which is perfect when your hands are full

Tech

I used the tech in this car constantly, and it all felt really intuitive.

The large infotainment screen was great for directions, and Apple CarPlay® worked perfectly for music and navigation.

The speakers built into the headrests sound incredible and make it feel like you’re surrounded by music instead of just hearing it from the doors.

Little Things I Appreciated

There were a few extra details that stood out over the weekend:

Window shades in the back seats, which are great for passengers

A super smooth, quiet ride even on rough winter roads

A driving feel that’s comfortable but still confident

Final Thoughts

After spending the weekend with the 2026 INFINITI QX60, I get the hype. It’s comfortable, practical, and actually fun to live with. It feels luxury without being over-the-top, and it handles real life really well, especially during an Iowa winter.

If you’re looking for a three-row SUV that feels just as good running errands as it does on a night out, this QX60 is worth checking out. Come see it at Willis Automotive and experience it for yourself.
